Inhaled Corticosteroids

IMPORTANT: QVAR is preventive therapy for asthma and must be used regularly and at the times your

ADVERSE REACTIONS
Systemic and local corticosteroid use may result in the following:
- Candida albicans infection
- Immunosuppression
- Hypercorticism and adrenal suppression
- Reduction in bone mineral density
- Growth effects
- Glaucoma and cataracts
